Like many cities in the US, the Downtown area is pretty quiet at the weekend. The Capitol Building was closed when we were there, but I've heard that it's very nice inside. One cool thing is that one of the steps of the building is marked to show that it is 5280 ft above sea level - Denver really is the Mile High City.
