We didn't spend too long in Stonehenge - the weather was traditionally that of a British Winter...it was cold and very wet!

Stonehenge is impressive, but it's a realy shame that you can't wander freely around the stone circle any more. Instead visitors are restricted to a path that circles the ring of standing stones. When we were there they has even closed the path off halfway along, so you couldn't even go all the way around. We should have saved the money that we spent on admission and just viewed the site from the roadside as many other people did.
