Bucklers Hard is on the south coast of England, near Southampton. It's famous for being the place where they used to build the big old sailing ships - like the "Ships of the Line". It's a quaint little place which is not much more than a single promenade lined with terraced houses that look very similar to each other. So it's a pretty place to visit if you are in the area, but there's not enough there to really warrant a long trip...unless you are really fascinated by old sailing ships that is. |
