The Coors Brewery is in Golden and we were fortunate enough to get a VIP tour of the place. It was excellent - we got to go all over, from where they let the barley germinate to where they package the beer. At the end of the tour there's the tasting bar where you can sample up to 3 cheeky beers...Hic!

An interesting part of the tour is where the beer is filtered through hundereds of big pads...that was neat. Right there they allow sampling of the beer that had just been filtered - just before it gets bottled. If that's not cool enough, the samples are taken from a narrow curled pipe called...a pigtail!
