Holy piggy tails – what was I thinking climbing another 14-er? Mt. Bierstadt is supposed to be one of the easiest of the Colorado 14-ers – but it sure didn’t feel like it! It was hard work (for all of us except 8 year old Alex) but we all made it to the 14,060 foot summit. It was cold and snowy at the top and a storm was starting to roll in so we didn’t hesitate and started descending immediately.
